NXP Semiconductors needed a way to run quality analysis and business intelligence queries across multiple disconnected product databases. Data was spread across separate systems with no unified way to query or cross-reference it, making it slow and error-prone to get a complete picture of any given product.
The Solution
Semaku developed a linked data application in cooperation with Dydra, using a semantic data hub to connect and unify product information from multiple sources. Product data was modelled as linked data and exposed through a single query interface, allowing analysts to run SPARQL queries across all connected databases simultaneously. Semaku provided data science, data modelling, and application development expertise throughout the project.
The Outcome
NXP now has a single, unified interface for querying product data across all connected sources. Quality analysts and business intelligence teams can explore detailed product information without manually reconciling data from separate systems, significantly reducing the time and risk involved in product analysis.
